Humberto (Bert) Urbano

I am a Certified General Real Estate Appraiser with the State of California. My formative years of training (1977 to 1986) were spent working at Great American Bank, once a major lender in San Diego. In 1986, I founded my own appraisal practice and have continued to the present.

I specialize in providing apartment summary reports. However, I have recently completed appraisals of mixed-use (apartment and retail) and mobile home parks. Additionally, I oversee my staff in performance of single family, condominium, and 2-4 property valuations throughout San Diego County.

Rest assured, our caliber of reporting is accepted by most lenders and our Summary Reports conform to major lender requirements and fulfills USPAP guidelines.

Thomas (TC) Parker

Real Estate Analyst/Clerk/IT Support

I am a graduate of Simpson University with a Bachelor's in Mathematics. I have worked with H.M. Urbano & Company for several years. During my tenure I have worked to integrate new technologies in order to streamline the appraisal process. I created spreadsheets to aid with valuation approaches. I ordered, assembled, and initialized multiple workstations. Additionally, I developed and maintain the company's on-line presence, including Facebook, LinkedIn and the company web page. Lastly, I spearheaded the initiative "Go Green" as we move forward, i.e. using digital files instead of printing hard copies.

My office duties include, but are not limited to, setting up property inspections, conducting market research, creating a digital building sketch of subject properties, assisting with inspection of properties, and general clerical and IT support.
